They Stadtvilla (Town House) caught my attention because I always liked the idea of high house which has a smaller footprint. The house was apparently at least three floors, and I think it might also have a basement. After posting the other day we featured WeberHaus, we got an email from Heinrich, a reader Contemporist from Germany, let us know about Platz Haus, which is a German company prefab homes.

Wood veneer panels, travertine and glass combine to provide opaque, warm palette of finish, which flows through out the house. A steel staircase, wood and cut glass entry foyer which is a wing hinge split level. Passive heating and cooling and ventilation using natural help minimize the A / C, and solar pool heating and 24,000 L rain water tank have been integrated into the spacious family home.
