New home for old
This house is the 15 th century, the uninhabited for over 100 years, abandoned and dilapidated, was reconstructed team Formzone. The house is situated in an ancient mountain village founded in 1186. During reconstruction of the facades have undergone only cosmetic repairs, the interiors were also completely changed, in a contemporary style with modern amenities. As possible of the historic interiors have been preserved.
Houses in suburbs
The site is located near Moscow, on a steep slope of a small hill. The landscape was transformed into a minimum, the building is actually built into the hill. The upper level is designed as a white cube – here posted a spacious living room with fireplace, an office and a huge terrace-roofing. The lower level is given over to a private area, it is almost entirely underground. Only one wall is a large stained-glass window overlooking the river and meadows.
Underground house in Switzerland
Reconstruction of a house in the area of ??one-storey building 60-ies. Building codes, in principle, allows to expand the house, but it was necessary to obtain the consent of all neighbors. On the advice of architects made easier – a new area placed under the ground by staging two courtyards and thereby maintaining the existing landscape almost untouched. Topsoil in the reconstruction process was carefully removed and then returned to the place. Two underground courtyards, “engravings” in the ground, painted white for maximum light basement rooms. For additional lighting destkih bedrooms made two Kr?kle windows and portholes are closed, if necessary horizontal sliding shutters. Total in a ground floor bedrooms are available for 3 children, a bathroom and a cinema hall.
