Town house in Mexico City

Area 360 m2 house built in 2011 in Mexico City on 4 sites many obstacles to weave in the sides and front. Architect masterfully overcome this limitation, a balance between maximum openness of public areas and the provision of adequate privacy privacy zone. The house consists of two volumes of concrete. Less in the form of arch height 7.5 m, on the basis of basic, housing blocks, open on two sides and including a terrace, transition and libraries.

Dangerous balcony ledge appears so large that seemed to seize the building from the ground by the foundation. However, also stable, as well as the surrounding trees squat. It was they who inspired the architect to shape and color – the house, imitating the trees, as if spread on rocky ground, firmly attached to her “roots”. The house has everything you need for living and recreation: three bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, solarium and terrace. And, of course, beautiful views of mountains, sea and forest views.

Brick House Building

Brick house, designed by Zhang Leu to two friends in Nanjing, China switched to a long tradition of the page, but introduce a radical treatment of traditional materials for these places. Done by others, this building may seem confusing or awkward, making Leu Zhang, they resonated with the extraordinary tension between different places and eras. As with concrete houses, the architect created the “logic in the skin of the building,” using ordinary materials, as he revealed the nature and characteristics, suggesting the possibility multifaceted.
